A fellow demonic being of art has contacted me via number channel; and, a few weeks later... MidLife meets Headhunters!

I illustrated and edited segments of parts three and five; if the hideous, neon-skinned abominations splattered across the screen weren't sign enough.

Check out the shocking, mystifying, and logically questionable arc below, as the Hunters of Head sniff out dearest doggie Wumpy - last seen nearby a haunted, hobo-infested nightmare of an abandoned Sears.

Welcome to MidLife; the boundless skyline of a hellish, urbanized purgatory - the City Eternal.

MIDLIFE - FATE is an experimental horror following the animated afterlives of the functioning dead; dazed amnesiac Vienna, skeletal burnout Dev, disturbed greaser Spence, and the demonic Popobawa; lost through the purple haze of the endless beyond.

I'm Smog, the solo animator, writer, musician, director... all that. I've been working on this project for roughly two years, and have just begun production on a film adaptation of my original script. Emphasis on "adaptation" - MIDLIFE - FATE is a highly surreal, nostalgic and intoxicating experience - like a sharp swallow of freshly poured formaldehyde - produced by 71, a collective including myself and a select few others involved in production.

The film will feature a heavy emphasis on it's score, featuring a wide variety of haunting musical acts presented by MLFM (MidLife Modulation Frequency); a dissonant gallery of Vaporwave, Trip-Hop, Shoegaze, and lovely insults to the very concept of sound!

Here's to a beautiful MidLife. See you soon...

Coming at you like a speeding snow-orb, hot off the heels of the spooky season, and jumping the gun on the winter slog, it's... could it be?! Mark your calendars for midnight, tonight - here comes... Holidays with the SmogMonster!

My third full album, Holidays is a surrealist collection of holly-jolly horrors, sleighride sketches, merrie mutilations, and all sorts of yuletide traumas. It'll have visions of SmogMonsters dancing through your head.

Many of these aforementioned abominable tracks are experimental Frankenstein's monsters I've composed over the past few months, along with warps and remixes I've made for fellow musicians Super Jack and E.B. Spencer. Wrap it all up with a tattered, off-blue bow, and you've got a record perfect for any bout of seasonal depression.

Check it out under "Myles Sherman" on Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, Limewire, and all that jazz, and be sure to enjoy my other wretched releases! They're real top of the dollar bin stuff.

If you're looking for a fabulous, family-friendly romp through the most wonderful time of the year... look further!

You will regret it.

This Halloween's issue of "Malibu Stacy", a wicked feminist-punk-nightmare of a cut-and-paste zine, has featured my piece, "Lull"; in fabulous black and white!

I really dig the noir feel this piece gains without color; feels a bit like something from a forgotten horror flick, or pulp novel.

This is my second piece featured in the zine, the first being "Scale Wine", a simplistic illustration of Vienna. In the zine, I also talk through my feelings on sexuality, societal expectations, and the little battles each of us face - fun stuff!

Each issue is a microcosm of grunge, expression, free-thinking and insight, with a necessary dash of angst here and there. Needless to say, I give 'em the highly coveted SmogMonster Seal of Approval. Check them out! The mid-90's riot-grrrl deep in your soul will thank you.

Right now! Quit reading!

Hey, all. SmogMonster, tuning in...

A few weeks back, my pal E.B. Spencer and I sat down - quite literally, via the tried and true triple-punch of computer chair, booze and Zoom - for an interview conducted by Jack Seda-Schreiber of NextGenPolitics.org, focused on our lovely, and horrible mockeries of "music".

Could it be? A rare glimpse into the actively dimming dome of the fabled SmogMonster?

Get excited, everybody. I talk about my previous work with E.B., as well as one of my own tunes, "Evis", not to mention a fabulous little short film known as "You Were On The Today Show?". Check 'em out. True works of fine art - something like that.

So warm up your eyeballs and give it a read! Or don't. Your decision, really.
